| Identify and Separate StormTank Components | |
1. Identify and separate the three StormTank components: Top/Bottom Platens; Side Panels; and Columns. |
| Assemble StormTank Modules | |
2. Place one top/bottom platen (with column receiver cups up) on a surface that is firm, level, and free of debris. 3. Place the end of one column into one of the receiver cups. 4. Using a rubber mallet, drive the column into the receiver cup until securely seated. 5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until all 8 columns are seated. 6. Place a second top/bottom platen (with column receiver cups up) on a surface that is firm, level, and free of debris. 7. Flip the platen/column assembly (the first platen and the 8 columns) upside-down and onto the second platen. Align the columns into the receiver cups of the second platen. • If Side Panels are being assembled into this module, proceed to Step 8. • If Side Panels are not being assembled into this module, proceed to Step 10. 8. Insert side panels into the channels in the platens with the smooth surface of the side panels facing out. 9. Make sure that all columns and side panels are aligned in the receiving cups and channels of both platens. 10. Using the rubber mallet, drive the platen/column assembly into the second platen (with alternating taps at the base of each column) until all the columns are securely seated in their respective receiving cups. |
