Continuous Quality Improvement
Polychem Systems is dedicated to providing the highest quality products for our customers. As such, we are currently pursuing ISO 9001:2000 certification and expect to achieve this certification by the end of 2008!
All of Polychem Systems’ suppliers have either ISO 9001:2000 Certification or Quality Control Plans that are approved by Polychem Systems and are in general accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 standards. These QC Plans demonstrate the commitment to continuous improvement held by these suppliers for all of Polychem’s products.
Water Quality Standards
While Polychem Systems products have consistently performed to standards surrounding clarifier collector systems used in potable water applications, Polychem is currently pursuing NSF-61 certification of our products to ensure customers that our products continue to fulfill those standards every time.

Polychem System to be Installed in the Largest Asia Plant
Polychem Systems remains the worldwide leader in Non-metallic Chain & Flight Collector Systems. In December 2007 Polychem Systems began installation of the Bailonggang Waste Water Plant in Shanghai. The renovation and expansion of the Bailonggang's Waste Water Treatment Plant will be the largest of its kind in the world. Equipment for installation was on site/in country within 6 months of receipt of the purchase order.
Upon completion in June 2008, this plant will have a capacity to process 2 million cubic m of wastewater a day and will be the world's largest sewage treatment plant in terms of processing capacity. Back to top
Polychem Weda Agreement
Polychem Systems/Weda Water is currently working on an installation in Foxwoods, CT. This facility will use the world’s only self-driven, underwater pumping system for settling basins. Using shredder pumps mounted on the wings of the self-driven drive unit, the Polychem Weda SD System thoroughly removes sediment from the bottom of the clarifier basin without clogging, and provides superior pumping capacity.

Polychem: The Domestic Leader
Polychem Systems remains the worldwide leader in Non-metallic Chain & Flight Collector Systems. We recently began with Ulliman Schutte Construction a $6,200,000 - Third Phase renovation for Blue Plains, DC Waste Water Treatment Plant scheduled to be completed over the next several years. This installation consists of over 500 collectors.
Phase I was started in 2002 and Phase IV is to be completed after completion of Phase III.

In June, Polychem Systems and Brentwood Industries will be joining forces to display at ACE08 (AWWA) in Atlanta, GA, Booth #2717. We will also be traveling to WEFTEC in Chicago from October 19 through October 22, 2008. In 2007, WEFTEC drew almost 20,000 attendees and showcased > 1,000 exhibiting companies - see you in Hall B, Booth 22021.
