In new
installations using a static system, NRG's static shaft support brackets
eliminate the need for bearings on idler shafts. In a static shaft
system idler shafts remain fixed to the wall with static shaft support
brackets which prevent rotation, while idler sprockets spin freely
on static sleeve bushings which are secured to the shaft. These metal
supports can be furnished in steel or stainless steel, and feature
a variable sized wall plate, angle, and u-bolt.
These supports are mounted to the tank walls with 1 inch diameter
stainless steel anchor bolts. Available in a variety of bore sizes,
NRG's static shaft support brackets when used in conjunction with
NRG static shaft bushings create less load on the system and thus
are more efficient than standard dynamic systems. Static shaft take-up
supports are also available, adding horizontal adjustability. (see
