NRG's
non-metallic H78 jaw clutch sprockets do not rust or seize like metallic
drive sprockets can. NRG Jaw or pin clutch drive sprockets are used
on drive units that drive more than one chain and flight mechanism.
If one mechanism has an overload, it can be disengaged with its handwheel
assembly so that the other adjacent clarifier system can continue
to run using the same-shared drive. Lightweight and easy to assemble,
these drive sprockets have a strong lubricated green nylon jaw clutch
and handwheel with replaceable UHMW-PE or Nylon-6 bolt-on sprocket
teeth. Steel shear pins can be provided and sized for torque requirements,
and these jaw clutches can be furnished with or without trip cams.
Other drive sprockets are also available in trip-cam and standard
shear pin designs, with cast iron hubs, and with various pitch diameters
and number of teeth. Contact your
local NRG representative or distributor for more information. |
