NRG's
non-metallic H78 trip cam shear pin assemblies do not rust or seize
like metallic counterparts. Lightweight and easy to assemble, these
drive sprockets have a strong lubricated green nylon shear pin hub
and cam plate with replaceable UHMW-PE or Nylon-6 bolt-on sprocket
teeth. Steel shear pins can be provided and sized for torque requirements,
while a trip lug disengages during overload and actuates a limit switch
to shut down the motor. The trip cam offers additional overload protection
to the standard shear pin design, ensuring system shutdown at high
torque conditions. Other drive sprockets are also available in shear
pin only and jaw clutch designs, with cast iron hubs, and with various
pitch diameters and number of teeth. Call your local NRG representative
for more details. |
