Brentwood Acquires Reynolds Medical Packaging
We are pleased to announce the acquisition of the production assets of Reynolds Medical Thermoformed Packaging Operation, located in Downingtown, PA.
This acquisition was completed at the start of business on December 8, 2008 and supports Brentwood’s strategic effort in expanding its medical packaging division. To that end, Brentwood is also purchasing new state-of-the-art thermoforming equipment, expanding its clean room, and increasing sales and engineering personnel.
We look forward to supporting the needs and satisfying the expectations of our newly-acquired customers. As a progressive supplier of innovative packaging solutions, Brentwood Industries is committed to the standard of excellence in designs, products, services, and performance that have been built over 40+ years of designing, engineering, and manufacturing of the highest-quality thermoformed plastic products.

Brentwood Land Acquisition and Site Improvements
Directly across from the corporate offices of Brentwood Industries, Inc. in Reading, PA a significant land improvement has just been completed. This 6-acre property was acquired in early 2007
by Brentwood and what was once an overgrown, unkept parcel is now a beautiful park-like setting. North of the Brentwood Trailhead this property will connect the existing "Schuylkill River Trail" (Thun Trail) to the south. Walkers, bikers, and runners are frequently seen enjoying this new scenic area of the Thun Trail.

Keystone Opportunity Zone
Brentwood's brand-new, 200,000 square foot facility, added to our worldwide headquarters campus in Reading, Pennsylvania, was built in a Keystone Opportunity Zone. A "KOZ" is offered by a partnership of state and local governments and private entities to encourage industrial or commercial development in blighted or long-dormant sites. Brentwood is proud to be leading the redevelopment of Reading's Schuylkill River Corridor, and we feel our new facility is a shining example of what is to come for Reading and its environs.

The Brentwood Trailhead on the Thun Trail
At the intersection of Morgantown Road (PA Route 10) and Brentwood Drive, the winding roadway into our new Reading facility (see above), we've built a 31-car, landscaped, blacktop parking lot dedicated as a trailhead to The Thun Trail. Named after Frederic Thun (pronounced "toon"), the Reading industrialist and philanthropist who was a guiding force in many area community projects, The Thun Trail is a partially-completed (13 miles completed, 22.27 proposed) shaded, packed gravel rail-trail that runs along and spans the Schuylkill River through Berks and Montgomery Counties and links to other recreational trailways in the Schuylkill River National and State Heritage Area. The Thun Trail will eventually be the central link in a continuous trail from Pottsville, in Schuylkill County, PA all the way to Philadelphia! Our trailhead has become one of the most popular access points on the trail, enjoyed by hikers, walkers, dog-walkers, and bicyclists throughout the year.
